IMaM ALi (A.S) HaDiTH

Imam Ali(A.S) once said to his son Imam Hasan(A.S) , My son, learn four things from me and through them you will learn four more. If you keep them in mind your actions will not bring any harm to you: The greatest wealth is Wisdom; the greatest poverty is stupidity; the worst undo-ciableness is that of vanity and self-glorification; and the best nobility of descent exhibits itself in politeness and in refinement of manner. The next four things, my son, are: "Do not make friendship with a fool because when he will try to do you good he will do you harm; do not make a miser your friend because he will run away from you at the time of your dire need; do not be friendly with a vicious and wicked person because he will sell you and your friendship at the cheapest price and do not make friend of a liar because like a mirage he will make you visualize very near the things which lie at a great distance and will make you see at the great distance the things which are near to you". 

  Value of each man depends upon the art and skill which he has attained.

MuSLiM Bin AQeeL

 Husayn ibn Ali received thousands of letters from people of Kufa “We invite you to come to Kufa as we have no Imam to guide us. Through you Allah will unite us on the path of truth.” A few days later, the people of Kufa sent an emissary, a special messenger, to Husayn ibn Ali to persuade him to go to Kufa. There followed hundreds of other letters and many special emissaries from the people of Kufa to Husayn ibn Ali.

He wrote a letter to the people of kufa and gave it to Muslim ibn Aqeel. In this letter Husayn ibn Ali said, “I am sending my cousin and one of the most trusted ones from my family, Muslim ibn Aqeel, to report to me about your affairs. If his report agrees with what you have written I will soon be with you. You must be clear of the fact that the Imam is the only one who follows the book of Allah, and serves Allah in all matters and affairs with justice, honesty and truth.”
Husayn ibn Ali also said to Muslim ibn Aqeel: “Muslim, the whole world knows that you are one of the bravest warriors. It is just possible that seeing you in Kufa some people may think that our intention is to fight Yazid. Take your two sons Muhammad and Ibrahim with you. When they see you with such young children, they will know that our intentions are peaceful.”

*He who treats people kindly will be accepted as arbiter.
*To trust everybody in times of injustice and cheating is disability.
*To recognize the actuality of your friend, you should enrage him. If he keeps up his friendship, he is true friend lest, he is false.
*Do not appreciate one's affection before you enrage him three times.
*Do not trust your friend perfectly, because the knockdown of the trustful is incurable.
*Islam is a definite rank. Faith is one rank higher than Islam. Conviction is one rank higher than faith. People have been given a rank lower than conviction.
*The desire for the worldly pleasures causes grief and sadness. Abstinence from the worldly pleasures brings about the rest of both heart and body.
*He who gains oppression is not gaining welfare. He who mistreats people should not complain when people mistreat him.
*In homelands, exchanging visits is the means of association. In travel, correspondence is the means of association.
*Shaking hands is the perfect greeting of the resident and embracement is the perfect greeting of the traveler.
*A Muslim always has three characteristics: knowledge about the religion, good management of life, and perseverance in the faces of calamities.
*An actual believer is that whose sexual appetite does not overcome him and whose stomach does not shame him.
*A twenty-year friendship is kinship.
*Favors should be done only to the highborn or the religious. Those who show gratitude are very few.
*Enjoining good and forbidding evil should be practiced with a faithful believer that he would learn a lesson, or an ignorant that he would earn. Enjoining good and forbidding evil become surely worthless when they are applied to the powerful tyrants.
*As some people showed ingratitude for Allah's graces, He changed the graces into crises. As other people showed steadfastness against the misfortunes that inflicted them, Allah changed the misfortunes into graces.

Imam al-Sadiq (AS) was asked about personality, he answered: Personality stands for that Allah should not see you in situations against which He warned, and miss you in situations of which He ordered.

Powerful Dua Wird --Ya Lateef /Ya Latif - O Gentle / Subtle

Allah is gentle with His servants. he provides for whom He wills, and he is the Strong the Mighty.
Allahu Latifun bi 'ibadihi, yarzuqu man yasha'u, wa huwa l'-Qawiyyu l-'Aziz

From His beautiful and excellent Names is (Ya Lateef -O Gentle) Al-lateef: the meaning is the Ever-Discreetly Gentle, most affectionate, the knower of all sublities, The Subtle One, The Gracious, The One who is kind to His slaves and endows upon them, Most affectionate or knower of innermost secrets. He is the most delicate, fine, gentle, beautiful one. He is the one who knows the finest details of beauty. The finest of His beauties are hidden in the secrets of the beauties of the soul, wisdom, and divine light.

Subtle/Gentle: (1) so slight as to be difficult to detect or analyze, (2) operating in a hidden way [American Heritage Dictonary, 3rd Edition]. Latif: in the Arabic language: (1) the One who gives us our wants in a subtle way, (2) the One who does not wrong his servants even a little bit, (3) the One who shows grace to His creation by giving them their needs with gentleness and subtlety, (4) the One who knows the hidden delicacies of affairs [Fayruzabadi, The Encompassing Dictionary].

Whoever reads this Name Ya Lateef daily, Allah will grant abundance in his rizq (sustenance) and cause all his tasks to be accomplished without difficulties.

It is the noble attribute of Allah that saves one from poverty, misery, sickness, loneliness or any adversity, for Allah will surely grant him deliverance – Insha-Allah. ( For the one that has the ‘Ijaza-permission to recite Ya Lateef which is part of our daily Wird in our Tariqah )

( the hint is that the word lateef reminds you of lutf.. and basically ‘lutf in food’ ..like the pleasure in eating. So, rizq is easy to remember and others (poverty, misery & sickness) are non-lutf stuff)

He (Allah) is the One who is so discreet in His actions that He discerns the hidden and secret, and what the hearts are filled with. He also perceives what is in the lands, of enclosed grains and seeds.

He is Ever-Gentle with His devoted slaves and makes things easy for them and keeps them away from difficulties. He makes the path to His Pleasure and Generosity easy for them.

He protects them from every and means that may lead to His anger. This is through means that they may perceive as well as means that they do not perceive. He (Allah) also decrees matters for them that they dislike in order for them to be granted what they love.

He is Gentle with them with respect to their own souls as He guides them to His beautiful ways and His noble creations.

He is Gentle with them with respect to matters that are external to them with every goodness and righteousness.

The name Al-Lateef is close in its meaning to Al-Khabeer (the Well-Acquainted with all things), Al-Ra`oof (the Clement) and Al-Kareem (the Generous).

To be open the sirr-secrets of the noble name Ya-Lateef one needs to have ‘Ijaza-permission to recite Ya Lateef which is part of our daily Wird in our Tariqah, thus the only way to really benefit 1000% is to join the tariqah.

Fatimah (SWT) is a part of Me.......

When Our Lady Fatimah (SWT) was infromed of this question . Her Holiness replied that the best thing for a women is that her glance never falls on a male stranger and the glance of a male stranger does not fall on her

When this answer reached The Holy Prophet (SAWS), His Holiness was rejoiced and said:

“—-Fatimah (SWT) is a part of me (His Holiness The Prophet of Islam (SAWS)”.

Ibn Al-Maghazili mentions in his book Manaqib that (His Holiness) Ali ibn Al-Hussain ibn Ali (A.S) said:

“Once a blind man asked for permission to enter Fatima’s (Her Holiness) house

but she kept a veil between them. The Messenger of Allah (SAWS) noticed her

(Our Lady Fatimah (SWT)) actions and asked:

`Why did you (Her Holiness(SWT)) keep a veil between you (Her Holiness (SWT))

when he cannot see you?”

Her Holiness Fatimah (SWT) answered :` Messanger of Allah, it is true that

he cannot see me (Her Holiness (SWT)), but I (Her Holiness (SWT)) can see

him and he can smell my (Her Holiness (SWT)) fragrance.’

At this, the Prophet (SAWS) said : “I bear witness that you are part of me”.

Imam Mahdi (A) reflects upon the astonishing tribulations that Imam Hussain (A) was subjected to, thus: 

"Salutations upon the one, who was smeared with blood and dust.
Salutations upon the one, whose government was looted.
Salutations upon the torn shirts.
Salutations upon the parched lips.
Salutations upon the ones, who were victims of untold grief and anguish.
Salutations upon those souls, whose bodies were put to the sword through deception.
Salutations upon the unshrouded and unattended corpses.
Salutations upon the corpses whose colours were transformed by the scorching heat.
Salutations upon the pools of blood that were absorbed by the earth of Karbala.
Salutations upon the scattered, dismembered limbs.
Salutations upon the (severed) heads that were raised on lances.
Salutations upon the pure ladies, that were paraded without their veils.
Salutations upon the one, whose bloodthirsty enemies violated their covenants regarding his honour and the honour of his family.
Salutations upon the one, with the shedding of his blood, the sanctity of Islam was desecrated.
Salutations upon the one, who was inflicted with fatal wounds all over his body.
Salutations upon the one, whose acute thirst was quenched with the stabbing of sharp spears and lances.
Salutations upon the one, who was targeted for oppression and tyranny, and whose tents and clothes were plundered.
Salutations upon the one, who was, abandoned alone in the universe.
Salutations upon the one, who was left unclothed the likeness of which is not found.
Salutations upon the one, whose jugular vein was severed.
Salutations upon the supporter of religion, who waged a holy war without any assistance and support.
Salutations upon the holy beard that was dyed in blood.
Salutations upon the cheeks that was smeared with dust.
Salutations upon the plundered corpse.
Salutations upon the blessed teeth, that were jabbed at disrespectfully, with a cane.
Salutations upon the pure head, that was hoisted on a lance.
Salutations upon the purebred corpses, whose limbs were scattered across the desert.

"Salutations upon Hussain, who sacrificed his life in Allah's way with intense sincerity and earnestness.
Salutations upon the one, who submitted to Allah's commands secretly and openly.
Salutations upon the one, whose soil is blessed with healing powers.
Salutations upon the one, within whose shrine Allah accepts all prayers.
Salutations upon the one, within whose progeny continues the chain of Imamate.
Salutations upon the son of Allah's final Apostle (S).
Salutations upon the son of the chief of successors (A).
Salutations upon the beloved son of Fatima Zahra (A).
Salutations upon the grandson of KhadijatuI Kubra (A).
Salutations upon the inheritor of 'Sidratu! Muntaha'
Salutations upon the son of 'Jannatul Ma'wa'.

Hazrat Akbar (a.s) To Imam Hussain (a.s)

As he was falling from his horse, he cried out. "O Father, my last salaams to you!" As he hit the ground the spear broke but the blade remained lodged in Hazrat Ali Akbar's (AS) chest. When Imam Husayn (AS) heard Hazrat Ali Akbar's (AS) salaam he looked at Furaat where Hazrat Abbas (AS) lay and said, "Abbas! Now when your brother needs you most, where have you gone? Oh Abbas". With all his strength sapped by the anguish in Ali Akbar's (AS) voice, Imam Husayn (AS) began to walk towards the battlefield. When Imam Husayn (AS) got to where Hazrat Ali Akbar (AS) lay he took him in his arms. Hazrat Ali Akbar (AS) had his right hand on the chest. He placed his left arm over the shoulder of his father. Imam Husayn (AS) said, "Akbar, why do you embrace me with one arm only?" Hazrat Ali Akbar (AS) would not reply. Imam Husayn (AS) tried to move Hazrat Akbar’s (AS) hand, however he resisted. Imam (AS) gently moved the hand. Then he saw one of the most horrific sights of the day of Ashoora! He saw the blade of a spear.

Imam Husayn (AS) laid Ali Akbar (AS) on the ground and then sitting on his knees he put both his hands on the blade of the spear. He then looked at Najaf, and cried out, "Baba Ya Mushkil Khusha (Help me Baba!)" He pulled out the blade, Hazrat Ali Akbar (AS) took a deep sigh, and then lay still forever. At such a young age Hazrat Ali Akbar (AS) gave up his life for Islam. His bravery and faith should be a lesson for all of us to overcome our daily jihad to stand up for the respect of our religion it so undeniably deserves. Imam Husayn’s (AS) family sacrificed their lives for Islam and that alone deserves much respect.

May Allah Give Our Young Generation The Taufeeq To Follow The Footpath Of Hazrat Ali Akbar (AS) And Allah Give Life, Health And Iman To Our Youth For The Sake Of Hazrat Ali Akbar (AS) Ameen.

This was his most famous nickname. The reason behind that
was his good looking face which was resembled to the moon.
2-Saqqa' (THE ONE WHO BRINGS WATER)
This is his another famous nickname.
Since he was dealing with bringing water to Imam Hussein 
camps and supplying Imam's thirsty children with water, he was given
this nickname.
3-Hamel-ul-Lava' (THE ONE WHO CARRIES THE FLAGS)
This nick name was given to him because he was the one who carried
the flag in Imam Hussein  troop.
4-Raees-e-Askar- al-Hussein (THE COMMANDER OF IMAM HUSSAIN  TROOPS)
This nickname was given to him
because he was the commander of Imam Hussain  troops

When Zainab reached Kufa, she addressed people with fury words:

"Praise to Allah, and may the blessing of Allah be upon Muhammad and his progeny. O people of Kufa, you are hypocrites and deceitful. You feign to be sorry for the death of my brother and his companions. May you always shed tears. I find nothing in you but flattery, evil acts and thoughts, pride and spite and ill-will. By Allah! You deserve lasting sorrow instead of joy. Shame on you, your hands are imbrued with the blood of the son of the Holy Prophet, the one who was your sole refuge in case of adversity. By your evil act and disloyalty, you incurred the -wrath of Allah against you. Woe betide you! No one will intercede with Allah for you."
